TruRep Privacy Policy

TruRep, LLC respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how TruRep collects, uses, stores and shares information when you use the TruRep mobile application, Apple Watch application, website and related services.
1. Information We Collect
A). Account Information
We may collect information used to create and maintain your TruRep account, including your name, email address, account identifier and sign in information.
B). Training and Performance Data
We collect information generated through your use of TruRep, including training sessions, repetitions, workout activity, Shot Quality, scores, training time, progress, streaks and other performance measurements.
C). Health, Motion and Fitness Data
TruRep uses health, motion and sensor information from supported Apple devices, including Apple Watch and HealthKit, to measure movement, evaluate training activity and provide performance feedback.
Access to HealthKit and other protected Apple data is subject to your device permissions. You can manage these permissions through your Apple device settings.
D). Shot Analysis Content
If you choose to use a shot analysis feature, TruRep may process videos and related information you submit for analysis.
E). Team Information
If you use TruRep through a team or organization, we may maintain information related to your team membership, training activity and team performance.
F). App and Device Information
We may collect technical information necessary to operate, secure, analyze and improve TruRep, including device identifiers, app activity, diagnostics, usage information and notification information.
2. How We Use Information
We may use information to:
Provide and operate TruRep.
Create and maintain user accounts.
Measure and display training performance.
Provide real time movement and training feedback.
Maintain training history and progress.
Provide shot analysis when requested.
Support team features and leaderboards.
Manage subscription status and access to TruRep features.
Send service, account and training notifications.
Diagnose technical problems, maintain security and improve TruRep.
Understand how users interact with TruRep.
Support analytics and advertising measurement where permitted.
3. Apple Watch and HealthKit Data
TruRep uses Apple Watch, HealthKit and device sensor information to provide movement analysis, measure training activity and provide performance feedback.
TruRep does not sell HealthKit, fitness or training data.
TruRep does not use information obtained through HealthKit for advertising or marketing purposes.
4. Tracking and Third Party Technologies
TruRep may use third party technologies and software development kits that collect information such as device identifiers and app activity for analytics, advertising measurement and related purposes.
Where required by Apple, TruRep requests your permission before allowing tracking across apps or websites owned by other companies.
You may allow or deny tracking through Apple’s App Tracking Transparency prompt. You can change your tracking permission at any time through your Apple device settings.
5. Third Party Services
TruRep uses third party service providers to operate portions of the platform. These may include services for authentication, cloud infrastructure, databases, analytics, payments, notifications and application functionality.
These providers may process information as necessary to provide their services to TruRep. Their handling of information may also be governed by their own privacy policies and applicable law.
6. Data Sharing
TruRep does not sell your personal information.
We may share information with service providers that help us operate TruRep, when you direct or authorize us to do so, when required by law, or when reasonably necessary to protect TruRep, our users or our legal rights.
7. Data Retention
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide TruRep, maintain legitimate business records, comply with legal requirements and protect the security and integrity of our services.
Information that is no longer reasonably necessary may be deleted or anonymized, subject to applicable legal and operational requirements.
8. Account and Data Deletion
You may delete your TruRep account at any time through the account deletion option available within TruRep.
Deleting your TruRep account does not automatically cancel an active subscription purchased through Apple. Monthly and annual subscriptions must be managed or canceled through your Apple account subscription settings.
When you delete your account, TruRep will delete or anonymize associated personal information as appropriate. Certain information may be retained when reasonably necessary to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent fraud or abuse, maintain security or maintain legitimate business records.
9. Youth Users
TruRep may be used by youth athletes. TruRep accounts require authenticated access.
We do not knowingly use personal information from youth users for targeted advertising.
When required by applicable law, a parent or legal guardian may contact TruRep regarding personal information associated with a youth user’s account, including requests concerning access, correction or deletion.
10. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information.
No method of electronic transmission or storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
11. Your Choices
Depending on the features you use, you may control certain TruRep permissions through your Apple device settings, including Health, motion, notifications and tracking permissions.
You may also contact TruRep regarding access to, correction of or deletion of personal information associated with your account.
12. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as TruRep and its services evolve. When we make material changes, we will update the effective date and provide additional notice when appropriate.
